Environmental Engineer, Compliance/Air Programs

This role will work with the environmental lead in continuous chemical inventory and air emissions tracking systems that underpin EPCRA and air quality compliance at SpaceX’s Bastrop, TX site—a high-throughput mass manufacturing environment. The engineer will work in a cross functional environment to contribute to designs, help develop operational plans, and maintain records that keep inventory and emissions current through changing production rates, material streams, and equipment configurations, ensuring that Tier II, TRI, and air permit reports are complete, accurate, and audit ready. 

• →This is not a remote or hybrid position and will require relocation if not already local to the Bastrop, TX area
• →Position occasionally requires the ability to work extended hours and weekends when needed
