Spire Claremont Hospital are looking to recruit an experienced Chef to join their established team on a permanent basis. If you are also looking to progress your current experience in the catering sector – this may be the right role for you.

Spire Claremont Hospital has provided first-class independent healthcare at the heart of the South Yorkshire community since 1953. Our hospital is situated among beautifully landscaped grounds in Crosspool, Sheffield and it is situated 3 miles (about 20 minutes) to the south west of Sheffield city centre.

Claremont Hospital has 42 beds, three laminar flow theatres, 13 consulting rooms, a static MRI and CT scanner, and plain and digital X-ray. The hospital provides surgery and outpatients with diagnostic imaging services.

Responsibilities

→To Deliver High levels of food & Service through all areas of hospitality
→To support the head/senior chef in all aspects of the kitchen & maintaining standards
→To maintain a safe working environment for all staff and customers, Both Internal & External
→Ensure all HACCP is adhered to
→To ensure efficient consistent delivery of food throughout all hospitality
→To foster and maintain a culture of assistance between kitchen and server staff and all departments within Spire Healthcare
→To lead by example and ensure consistency of all food production and presentation

NVQ level 2 or higher preferred
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
Hold relevant certificates or be willing to undertake specialist training in specific areas
Knowledge & Experience in similar establishment
Professional self-starter able to work unaided
Highly organised and capable of working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
