Assistant Vessel Operations Manager

The Assistant Vessel Operations Manager works alongside the Vessel Operations Manager supervising all departmental personnel, and is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the daily vessel cargo handling operations and associated administrative functions in order to meet customer standards and maximize profits. This role will also participate in the discipline and employment processes by making decisions to hire, promote/demote, and terminate employment.

• →Required job duties are normally performed in a climate-controlled office environment.
• →Must be able to work in extreme outdoor temperatures, both hot and cold, extremely dusty conditions, and occasionally, conditions of high levels of noise.
• →The ability to work in an environment that may be hazardous to persons unable to see and hear fast-moving equipment.
• →Exposure to computer screens.
• →The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
• →The ability to drive up to 20%.

Salary Range: $130,000-170,000 per year

The posted compensation range is based on the applicable geographic market for the position and may vary depending on factors such as related experience and skill set. Final compensation will be determined based on these items and other relevant factors.
