Senior Accountant - Manufacturing

Who: Experienced Senior Accountant with 5–6+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or manufacturing environment.

What: Manage financial reporting, general ledger reconciliations, month-end close, and accounting process improvements.

When: Full-time, Monday through Friday.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support financial reporting, month-end close, general ledger management, and accounting operations within an established industrial organization.

This is a hands-on senior-level position requiring strong technical accounting knowledge, independent decision-making, and the ability to manage complex accounting responsibilities with minimal supervision.

  Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.

  Prepare journal entries and manage month-end, quarterly, and year-end close activities.

  Prepare financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses.

• →

  Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

• →

  Maintain gross margin reports and calculate sales commissions.

• →

  Support accounts payable, lease accounting, corporate credit cards, and revenue recognition.

  Prepare audit schedules, tax documentation, and regulatory reports.

• →

  Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and internal controls.

• →

  Lead accounting process improvements and system enhancement projects.

• →

  Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• 5–6+ years of progressive accounting experience.

• Minimum 2 years of SAP experience.

• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas.

• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial accounting principles.

• Demonstrated ownership of month-end close activities.

• Experience in corporate or manufacturing accounting.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred: CPA designation or active pursuit, IFRS knowledge, and experience in manufacturing, industrial, or multi-entity organizations.
