Are you passionate about cleanliness and creating a welcoming environment for guests? We’re looking for a Public Space Attendant to join our team in a newly renovated, vibrant setting! Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting environment will help create an exceptional experience for every guest.

• →Clean and maintain all hotel public areas, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, stairwells, meeting spaces, and other guest-facing areas.
• →Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize assigned areas according to established hotel standards.
• →Maintain cleanliness and appearance of public restrooms throughout the shift, ensuring supplies are replenished as needed.
• →Empty trash and recycling receptacles and properly dispose of waste.
• →Clean and maintain floors, carpets, windows, furniture, fixtures, and other public-area surfaces.
• →Monitor public areas throughout the shift and promptly address spills, debris, and other cleanliness concerns.
• →Assist with cleaning and maintaining meeting and event spaces before, during, and after functions.
• →Report maintenance issues, damaged property, safety hazards, or other concerns promptly to the appropriate department.
• →Respond to guest requests and questions courteously and professionally, directing guests to the appropriate department when necessary.
• →Maintain a clean and organized supply area and ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored after use.
• →Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and chemical-handling procedures.
• →Help create a warm, welcoming, and professional environment through consistent attention to cleanliness and presentation.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, public-area cleaning, custodial services, or a related position preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with guests and team members.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and handle cleaning chemicals according to established procedures.
• Knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; relevant experience may be considered.
• Ability to follow instructions and established cleaning procedures.
• Previous hotel or hospitality experience preferred.
• Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local health, safety, and legal regulations.
• Ability to obtain required licenses and certificates.
• Additional language ability preferred.
• CPR and first aid training preferred.
