Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Provide overall leadership for ERP/SIS projects
- →Track and report on project budget
- →Establish a project plan that is suitable for the size and scope of each assigned project
- →Schedule and manage SIG resources assigned to projects; collaborate with the Resource Manager
- →Work with the client to ensure appropriate client resources are assigned to the project; manage all implementation teams
- →Provide advisory services to support change management for the organization
- →Track project progress and provide regular status reports to project sponsors and other executives as appropriate
- →Escalate project issues and identify potential setbacks on time
- →Work with the client to develop a risk management plan
Requirements
~1 min read- Five+ years of project management experience within Higher Education is a must
- Experience with SaaS implementation is a must-have
- Experience managing the development and implementation of software enhancements, maintenance programs, and new releases of these products
- Exceptional written, oral communication, and critical thinking skills
- Experience in effectively communicating and reporting at the executive level
- Experience using project management tools such as Smartsheet to plan and track large, complex projects
- Ability to organize and lead multiple projects for more than one client simultaneously
- Proven experience serving as a project lead and motivating teams to action
- Experience with Ellucian Banner, Colleague, or other ERP and Student Information Systems
- Ability to travel to client campuses on occasion (up to 25%)
- Previous Consulting experience is preferred
- Ideal candidates will hold a PMP certification
