Responsibilities

→Operate a manual tractor truck with a minimum Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of 45,000 pounds safely and in compliance with all state and federal regulations
→Ensure timely and efficient transport of goods while following all company safety guidelines.
→Load, unload, strap, and tarp cargo securely for transport.
→Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good operating condition, reporting any issues to the Project Manager immediately.
→Receive goods at the yard and supervise yard logistics

Requirements

A valid CDL Class A with a clean driving record.
Proven experience in heavy truck or tractor-trailer driving, with a strong understanding of local and state driving laws.
Ability to drive a manual tractor truck
Ability to handle physical workloads, including lifting and maneuvering heavy cargo as needed.
Must be able to speak fluent English to communicate with co-workers.
Strong attention to detail for documentation and vehicle inspection.
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with supervisors and report any issues.
