Manage multiple programs for life of programs, from quotes through mass production. Develop and manage timelines to align and meet all customer deliverables. Manage all aspects of the program from aligning and managing vendors, suppliers, tool makers, testing and production PPAP process. Work with customers for any quality issues contributing to root cause analysis and corrective actions. Set and manage budgets for testing, samples and general expenses. Manage testing timing and approval with the customers and managing sample requests for any customer delivery.

  1. →Develop timelines with input from the customer and all internal departments to meet customer deliveries.
  2. →Work with Business Planning and Development group to set up and track the budget for each program assigned.
  3. →Attend all customer meetings including all required onsite meetings at the customer.
  4. →Be the interface between all manufacturing groups and maintain open issues and report on project status.
  5. →Work internally with the SEWS Wire Harness group to ensure new business opportunities.
  6. →Work with Manufacturing and Production Control group to assure PPAP release.
  7. →Work closely with the customer, vendors and all internal groups to find root cause of any quality issues and support in determining counter measures needed. Be lead contact in communication with customer.

  • Bachelor’s degree required. A technical degree with a major in engineering or design is preferred.
  • 7-10 years progressive engineering experience.
  • Experience working with North American OEMs.
  • Understanding of North American Automotive OEM requirements and specifications including USCAR.
  • Experience with manufacturing processes.
  • Experience in development roles including engineering and design.
