Senior Fullstack Developer at Sweef

Sweef is an ecommerce company built around freedom of choice. We develop furniture with high standards for comfort and aesthetics, then give customers the options to make it their own. Our ambition is to create products and a buying experience that feel personal, considered and genuinely worth living with.

We’re doing something big. Sweef has outgrown relying solely on external partners. We’re now bringing all technical development in-house to build an internal team that will set a new standard for digital furniture retail. We’re looking for you, an experienced developer who wants to be there from the start and help build what comes next.

• Momentum. Sweef is a profitable, fast growing company in the furniture and interiors space, with the ambition to keep raising the standard for what ecommerce in our category can be.

• Ownership. You will be one of the first internal engineering hires and have a real hand in shaping how we work, deploy and scale as development moves in house.

• Stack. We are building with Next.js, React, Crystallize, Inngest and Supabase. This is a modern composable setup without the weight of a large legacy platform.

• Experience. From 3D and AR to advanced configurators, we are investing in an ecommerce experience that should feel both beautiful and functional.

• Autonomy. You will have real input into the roadmap and play a key role in how features and services are designed and delivered.

• Built together, on site. This role is based full time in Stockholm. We believe the best work happens close to the product, the team and the day to day business, so this is not a fully remote role.

• Eligibility. This role requires an existing right to work in Sweden. We are unable to provide visa or work permit sponsorship for this position.

• Employment type. This role starts with a six month probationary period and is intended to transition into a permanent position.

As a Senior Fullstack Developer at Sweef, you will:

• Play a key role in Sweef's shift from agency led development to internal technical ownership.

• Use AI augmented development to build, test and ship features at a pace that helps us stay ahead of competitors.

• Continuously strive to build a better website for all of Sweef's brands (Sweef, Happy Fluffy Cloud, Nufferton).

• Work closely with the ecommerce team and partners to identify, prioritise and drive high impact initiatives on the website with a clear focus on conversion and customer experience.

We're looking for a senior profile who is "fullstack" in the true sense of the word – someone who understands both database design and how to polish a UI component with Tailwind.

• 5+ years in modern web development, ideally with React, Next.js and Node.js.

• Strong fullstack capability across frontend, backend and database design.

• Confidence working in production environments and making sound technical decisions around performance, maintainability and scalability.

• Ability to work closely with ecommerce and commercial stakeholders to identify, prioritise and deliver improvements that create customer and business value.

• Practical use of AI tools to improve speed and efficiency in development workflows without compromising quality.

• Experience working with headless or composable e-commerce architectures.

• Comfort working independently, taking ownership and operating in a fast moving environment.

• Sweef has a strong culture rooted in what sits at our core, namely the customer and sales. You're a real "doer", accountable, with a great attitude and always ready to pitch in where needed, whether that's code, customer contact or logistics. Nothing is left to chance.

• GraphQL knowledge.

• Familiarity with Crystallize, Supabase, Inngest, Vercel or similar tools.

• Experience working with integrations such as search, checkout, logistics and PIM systems.

• A track record of building high performing e-commerce experiences with a focus on conversion and customer experience.

• Exposure to 3D, AR or advanced product configurators.

• Interest in helping shape future engineering ways of working at Sweef.

• Frontend/Framework: Next.js, React.js, Tailwind CSS, GraphQL.

• Backend & Logic: Crystallize (PIM), Supabase, Inngest (Event-driven).

• AI Tools: Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot (we want you to push us here!).

• Integrations: Kustom, Meilisearch, Ingrid.

• Infrastructure: Vercel, Clerk, Sentry.
