Junior Technical Project Manager (Konan & Doxter)
Quick Summary
eligibility and knockout rules, scorecards, decision trees, limits, and pricing. Ingest and configure that policy logic in Konan under the guidance of our Konan subject matter experts,
Synapse Analytics builds AI-powered platforms that help financial institutions make faster, better, more transparent decisions. Konan, our decisioning and workflow platform, digitizes credit decisioning end to end inside banks and lenders. Doxter, our document intelligence platform, turns unstructured client documents into structured, usable data. We implement both inside regulated financial institutions across MENA and LATAM, and our Delivery team is the function that turns a signed contract into a live, value-generating platform.
About the Role
~1 min readKonan and Doxter are only as valuable as how well they are configured to each client's reality. A bank's credit policy (its eligibility rules, scorecards, limits, and approval workflows) and a lender's document set have to be understood, translated, and built into the platform accurately. The Junior Technical Project Manager exists to become the product expert our clients and our delivery team rely on.
You will join our global Project Management team, work under a Senior Project Manager, and learn alongside our Konan subject matter experts. On assigned implementations you will own the product side of delivery: reviewing client credit and risk policies, ingesting them into Konan, configuring Doxter document extraction, proving through testing that every configuration behaves as the client intended, and helping clients get the most out of the platform once it is live. The role combines project management discipline with deep, hands-on product fluency.
This is a growth role. Within 12 to 18 months, we expect the right person to own the full product configuration of an implementation and to be recognised as the Konan and Doxter expert for a portfolio of clients.
Responsibilities
~1 min readReview client credit and risk policy documents, underwriting guidelines, and product programs, and break them down into structured, implementable logic: eligibility and knockout rules, scorecards, decision trees, limits, and pricing.
Ingest and configure that policy logic in Konan under the guidance of our Konan subject matter experts, keeping a clear, version-controlled configuration record for every client.
Spot gaps, ambiguities, and contradictions in client policies early, and work them through with the client's credit and risk teams before they reach the build.
Map client requests to Konan's existing programs and capabilities (loan origination, onboarding, decisioning workflows) before anything is treated as custom work.
Analyse client document sets such as IDs, bank statements, salary certificates, financial statements, and contracts, and define the fields, rules, and validations each use case requires.
Configure and tune Doxter extraction and validation, and track accuracy against the acceptance criteria agreed with the client.
Work with Product and Data teams when new document types or accuracy gaps call for model improvements.
Build test cases and test data that prove each configured policy and document flow produces exactly the outcome the client expects.
Run and support SIT and UAT for configurations, log defects clearly, and track them to resolution with engineering.
Own configuration change requests after sign-off: assess the impact, update the configuration, retest, and document the change.
Be the product voice for your assigned clients: run demos and configuration workshops, and answer how-to and "can Konan do this" questions with confidence.
Train client users and administrators on Konan and Doxter, and prepare user guides and enablement material.
Support our Konan subject matter experts in producing data and decisioning insights from Konan outputs (approval rates, rule hit rates, policy performance) that help clients refine their policies.
Hand over to Customer Success at go-live with complete, accurate configuration documentation.
Plan and track the configuration workstream in ClickUp, owning your tasks, RAID items, and status inputs to the project plan.
Translate between client business and risk teams and Synapse engineering, data, and product teams.
Capture product feedback and feature gaps from clients as structured input for Product.
Contribute reusable policy templates, configuration patterns, and lessons learned to the team's knowledge base.
We are looking for someone analytical and technically minded who loves getting deep into how a product really works, and who wants to become the person clients ask for by name. We are not looking for a finished product; we are looking for the foundations and the drive to build on them.
0 to 2 years of professional experience in software implementation, product configuration, business analysis, credit or risk analysis, QA, solutions consulting, or a similar role. Strong internships and graduate programmes count.
A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline.
Any exposure to banking, lending, credit, or risk is a meaningful advantage.
Able to read a dense policy or rules document and extract its underlying logic accurately and completely.
Comfortable with rule-based and logical structures: conditions, decision trees, calculations, and workflows.
Comfortable working with data: advanced Excel, basic SQL, and structured formats such as JSON.
Picks up software products quickly and is not satisfied until they understand how they really work.
Attention to detail that borders on obsessive. A misconfigured rule means a wrong credit decision for a real customer.
Highly organised; manages several client configurations at once and follows through without constant supervision.
Takes initiative: sees what needs doing and does it.
Full professional fluency in both English and Arabic (written and spoken). This is mandatory.
Able to explain policy and configuration logic clearly to credit, business, and technical audiences.
Comfortable growing into leading demos, workshops, and training sessions.
Breaks complex policies and requirements into clear, testable components.
Questions assumptions and asks what the client actually meant, not just what they wrote.
Thinks about edge cases before they reach production.
Nice to Have
~1 min readExperience with decision engines, rules engines, loan origination systems, workflow tools, or low-code platforms.
Understanding of credit scoring, scorecards, or credit bureau data.
Exposure to OCR or document AI products.
Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, or Postman.
Experience with ClickUp, Jira, or a similar tool.
We are building the foundation of a global delivery team, and we hire for character as much as capability. Everyone on the team is expected to bring:
Respect for clients, colleagues, and the teams we work alongside.
Responsibility for your work and its outcome.
Reliability and accountability: you do what you say, when you say, and you own it when something slips.
Honesty and trustworthiness, especially when the news is not good.
Inner drive: we provide the tools, systems, and opportunity; you bring the motivation to grow.
