Senior SQA Engineer - PostEx

Our client PostEx is looking for Senior SQA Engineer in Lahore.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for fintech applications.
  
• Perform manual testing of web and backend systems to ensure product quality and reliability.
  
• Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman or similar platforms to validate integrations and data flow.
  
• Validate end-to-end transaction flows, ensuring accuracy in payment processing and system responses.
  
• Analyze and verify payment routing logic, ensuring transactions are processed through correct channels.
  
• Perform testing on tokenization mechanisms and ensure secure handling of sensitive financial data.
  
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to identify and resolve defects.
  
• Develop and maintain automation test scripts using tools such as Cypress or Playwright.
  
• Participate in regression, integration, and system testing cycles.
  
• Identify performance bottlenecks and potential risks in financial workflows.
  
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for fintech applications.
  
• Document test results, defects, and provide clear reports to stakeholders.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, preferably in fintech or payment gateway environments
  
• Strong experience in manual testing and API testing
  
• Proven expertise in transaction flow validation and payment routing systems
  
• Hands-on experience with tokenization and financial system workflows
  
• Experience with automation testing tools such as Cypress or Playwright
  
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and system integrations
  
• Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL) for data validation
  
• Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, ClickUp, or similar)
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  
• Attention to detail with a quality-first mindset
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with payment gateways, wallets, or digital financial products
  
• Understanding of PCI-DSS compliance and security standards
  
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration
  
• Basic knowledge of scripting/programming (JavaScript preferred for automation tools)
