Responsibilities

  • Design, build, administer, monitor, and secure Linux-based servers and containerized environments.
  • Support both on-premises and cloud infrastructure platforms.
  • Manage enterprise storage systems and file services.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using tools such as Ansible.
  • Partner with development and product teams to ensure scalable and reliable platform performance.
  • Utilize monitoring and security tools to proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure issues.
  • Support network infrastructure including firewalls, switches, WAF, DDoS protection, and related services.
  • Implement and maintain security controls across multiple operating environments.
  • Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and production support activities.
  • Contribute to infrastructure improvements, modernization initiatives, and operational best practices.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and support high-availability production environments.
  • 3-5+ years of Linux systems administration experience.
  • Experience in a DevOps-oriented environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools (Ansible preferred).
  • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including:
    • TCP/IP
    • DNS
    • DHCP
    • NAT
    • VLANs
    • Firewalls
    • Application proxies
  • Experience with technologies such as:
    • Docker
    • Apache
    • MySQL
    • Redis
    • NFS
    • LDAP
    • SSH
    • SMTP
  • Scripting or development experience with languages such as Python, PHP, Perl, Ruby, or similar.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • Work with modern infrastructure spanning cloud and on-prem environments.
  • High degree of autonomy and ownership.
