Project Manager — Information Technology Location: Tulsa,

OperationsProject Manager

A global manufacturer and distributor is undertaking one of the most significant technology investments in their history - a full migration from a legacy ERP platform to Oracle ERP Cloud, paired with a ground-up redesign of their customer-facing website. They need an experienced IT Project Manager to own both initiatives from planning through delivery.

This is a high-visibility role with executive exposure, cross-functional complexity, and real stakes. If you've steered large-scale ERP migrations before and know what it takes to keep enterprise projects on track, this is the kind of work you've been built for.

Responsibilities

~1 min read
  • Lead end-to-end project management for the migration from a legacy ERP platform to Oracle ERP Cloud
  • Build and manage detailed project plans, milestones, resource assignments, and risk registers
  • Coordinate across internal IT, business stakeholders, and Oracle implementation partners
  • Manage scope, schedule, and budget, and escalate proactively when any are at risk
  • Oversee data migration planning, UAT, cutover strategy, and go-live readiness
  • Drive change management and communication across affected business units
  • Serve as the PM lead for a full website redesign and e-commerce platform build
  • Partner closely with the Web Developer and internal stakeholders to manage scope and delivery cadence
  • Coordinate integration work between the web platform and Oracle ERP (orders, inventory, customer data)
  • Track deliverables, facilitate sprint reviews or milestone check-ins, and remove blockers
  • Maintain project documentation, status reporting, and executive dashboards throughout both initiatives
  • Apply full SDLC discipline - from requirements gathering through deployment and post-launch support
  • Identify dependencies and manage sequencing across parallel workstreams
  • Build strong working relationships with vendors, implementation partners, and internal teams

Requirements

~1 min read
  • 5+ years of IT project management experience, with at least one full-cycle enterprise ERP implementation
  • Demonstrated experience leading migrations from legacy ERP systems to cloud-based platforms
  • Strong command of full SDLC - from discovery and requirements through QA, deployment, and stabilization
  • Proficiency with project management methodologies (PMP, Agile, hybrid)
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and external vendors simultaneously
  • Proven ability to manage scope, budget, and schedule on multi-phase enterprise projects

Nice to Have

~1 min read
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP Cloud implementations (Oracle Fusion, Oracle Cloud ERP, or equivalent)
  • Familiarity with manufacturing or distribution industry business processes (order management, inventory, procurement, finance)
  • Experience coordinating ERP and web platform integration workstreams
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification
  • Clear, confident communicator - equally effective in a boardroom and a technical standup
  • Organized under pressure with strong instincts for prioritization and escalation
  • Skilled at translating technical complexity into plain language for business stakeholders
  • Collaborative by default, accountable by nature
  • Own two high-profile initiatives simultaneously - real scope, real authority
  • Direct access to executive leadership and meaningful influence on outcomes
  • Stable, well-capitalized company making a long-term commitment to its technology infrastructure
  • Tulsa-based, with an established team and a track record of delivering on major initiatives

Our client is an established global manufacturer and distributor known for quality and operational reliability. They are at an inflection point - investing significantly in modernizing their core systems and digital presence to support continued growth. This hire sits at the center of that transformation.

If you have a track record of delivering enterprise ERP migrations and complex IT projects, we'd like to talk. Apply directly through this posting or email Doug Halve at doug.halve@techpartnersllc.com to start the conversation.
