Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Serve as the technical owner and primary decision-maker for the web application ecosystem
- →Lead the full redesign and modernization of the public-facing website and customer experience
- →Establish development standards, maintain architectural documentation, and shape the technical roadmap
- →Design scalable, secure, and maintainable systems aligned with long-term business goals
- Architect and build e-commerce functionality including product catalog, configurators, cart, and checkout
- Deliver high-quality, responsive, and performant user experiences across devices
- Partner closely with UX and business stakeholders to execute on customer-facing solutions
- Design and maintain integrations across enterprise systems including Oracle ERP, WMS, CRM, EDI, API, and DAM
- Build and support RESTful APIs, data models, and database structures
- Ensure data integrity, transaction reliability, and error handling across systems
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other developers
- Review code and enforce standards for quality, security, and performance
- Own CI/CD pipelines and development lifecycle best practices
- Provide estimation, feasibility analysis, and solution design guidance
- Define and execute performance optimization strategies, including load testing
- Enforce secure coding practices and ensure compliance with data privacy standards
- Build systems that are stable, scalable, and built to last
Requirements
~1 min read- 5+ years of web development experience (front-end and/or full-stack)
- Experience in a technical leadership or ownership role
- Strong hands-on expertise in:
- Ruby on Rails
- JavaScript / modern front-end frameworks
- REST APIs
- SQL and database design
- Experience integrating with ERP systems (Oracle preferred)
- Solid understanding of data integration patterns and system architecture
Nice to Have
~1 min read- Experience building e-commerce platforms or product configurators
- Background in manufacturing or distribution environments
- Familiarity with pricing models, order workflows, and catalog systems
- Experience with EDI integrations
- Exposure to AWS or modern cloud environments
- Knowledge of payment processing and secure transactions
- Comfortable operating at the intersection of business and technology
- Strong problem-solver who can own challenges end-to-end
- Clear communicator — in code, documentation, and collaboration
