DP World, the fast-growing transportation and logistics leader that currently manages more than 10% of world trade, is seeking an experienced Road Freight Operations Specialist (International Groupage & Distribution) to join our growing Freight Forwarding office in Bucharest, Romania.

Responsibilities

Completed secondary education or a university degree, together with at least two years of relevant experience in international transport, logistics, groupage, distribution, or a related field.

Solid knowledge of international LTL groupage, collection, distribution, shipment consolidation, cross-docking, logistics hubs, and distribution networks.
→
Good understanding of chargeable weight, volumetric calculations, loading metres, vehicle types, transport-capacity planning, and logistics cost structures.
→
Good knowledge of the European transport industry, geography, and key international logistics corridors.
→
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and TMS platforms, with familiarity with Track & Trace and Control Tower processes.
→
English proficiency at intermediate to upper-intermediate level; additional foreign languages are considered an advantage.
→
Ability to plan and coordinate a high volume of shipments, collection points, delivery points, and transport flows across hubs and distribution networks.
→
Ability to identify pragmatic solutions, manage operational exceptions, make timely decisions, and optimise both costs and service levels.
→
Strong self-management, planning, administrative, and prioritisation skills, with the flexibility to meet deadlines in a dynamic operational environment.
→
Clear verbal and written communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to work effectively with colleagues, customers, carriers, hubs, and distribution partners.

English proficiency at intermediate to upper-intermediate level; additional foreign languages are considered an advantage.
