Quality Engineer - Ludington Area

• →Develop and implement quality control procedures and inspection plans.
• →Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-conformances.
• →Monitor and analyze production processes and product quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• →Lead and participate in internal and external quality audits.
• →Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality throughout the product lifecycle.
• →Develop and maintain quality documentation, including control plans, FMEAs, and work instructions.
• →Provide training and support to manufacturing personnel on quality standards and procedures.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949).
• Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, FMEA, 5 Whys).
• Experience with metrology, inspection techniques, and quality tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM).

• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) software.
• ASQ certification (e.g., CQE, CSSGB).
• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience with root cause analysis tools (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams).
• Proficiency in Minitab or other statistical analysis software.
