Quality Engineer - Muskegon Area

• →Develop and implement quality control procedures and inspection plans.
• →Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-conformances.
• →Monitor and analyze production processes and product quality data to identify areas for improvement.
• →Perform internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
• →Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure quality requirements are met throughout the product lifecycle.
• →Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• →Review and approve supplier qualifications and incoming material quality.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
• Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and other quality tools.
• Experience with corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and non-conformance management.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) software and tools.
• ASQ certifications (e.g., CQE, CSQP, CMQ/OE).
• Project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of specific industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949, FDA).
