Quality Engineer - Portage Area

• →Develop and implement quality control procedures and inspection plans.
• →Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-conformances.
• →Monitor and analyze manufacturing processes to identify areas for quality improvement.
• →Perform product inspections and audits to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• →Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure product quality throughout the lifecycle.
• →Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives using statistical process control and other quality tools.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
• Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, FMEA).
• Experience with metrology, inspection techniques, and quality tools.
• ASQ certifications (e.g., CQE, CSSGB) preferred.

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.
• Experience with advanced product quality planning (APQP) and production part approval process (PPAP).
