Quality Engineer - Traverse City Area

• →Develop and implement quality control procedures and inspection plans.
• →Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-conformances.
• →Monitor and analyze manufacturing processes for quality improvement opportunities.
• →Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure product quality from concept to launch.
• →Perform product and process audits to verify compliance with internal and external standards.
• →Utilize statistical methods to analyze data and identify trends in product quality.
• →Manage and resolve customer complaints related to product quality.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC).
• Experience with ISO 9001 quality management systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification.
• Experience with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other relevant quality management standards.
• Demonstrated ability to lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
