Responsibilities

- →Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
- →Analyze test data, identify trends, and report on product quality and manufacturing performance.
- →Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to define test requirements and improve product testability.
- →Troubleshoot and debug issues found during testing, working with engineering to implement solutions.
- →Configure, calibrate, and maintain test equipment and fixtures.
- →Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test procedures and reports.
- →Participate in design reviews to provide input on testability and potential failure modes.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in test engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control methodologies.
- Proficiency in developing automated tests using scripting languages (e.g., Python, C#).
- Experience with test equipment calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and statistical process control (SPC).
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC) or other data analysis techniques for manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with robotic systems, PLCs, or other automation technologies common in manufacturing.
- Knowledge of industry-specific compliance standards (e.g., ISO, FDA, AS9100) relevant to the manufacturing sector.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement test solutions for complex electromechanical systems.
- Certifications in quality assurance (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer) or relevant manufacturing methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
