Test Engineer - Portage Area

We are partnering with organizations in Portage that are seeking Test Engineers. • →Develop and execute test plans for manufacturing processes and products.
• →Design and build test fixtures and automated test equipment.
• →Analyze test data to identify trends, root causes, and areas for improvement.
• →Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure testability and quality.
• →Document test procedures, results, and defect reports.
• →Perform Gage R&R studies and maintain calibration of test equipment.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in test engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in developing and implementing automated test systems (ATE) and writing test scripts (e.g., Python, LabVIEW, C#).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control methodologies (e.g., SPC, FMEA).
• Experience with various test equipment and instrumentation (e.g., oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, data acquisition systems).
• Ability to analyze test data, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive root cause analysis for product and process defects.

• Experience with Python or other scripting languages for test automation.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or other quality methodologies.
• Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing.
• Knowledge of data acquisition systems and sensor technologies.
