Warehouse Manager - Zeeland Area

We are partnering with organizations in Zeeland that are seeking Warehouse Managers. • →Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, and shipping of raw materials and finished goods.
• →Develop and implement warehouse procedures and policies to optimize efficiency, safety, and inventory accuracy.
• →Manage and mentor warehouse staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and scheduling.
• →Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production and procurement to ensure timely material availability and minimize stockouts.
• →Implement and maintain a robust inventory management system, conducting regular cycle counts and resolving discrepancies.
• →Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards within the warehouse environment.
• →Optimize space utilization and layout of the warehouse to improve workflow and storage capacity.
• →Manage relationships with logistics providers and negotiate favorable terms for transportation and warehousing services.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and improve inventory control processes, safety protocols, and operational efficiencies.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Valid forklift certification and experience operating various material handling equipment.

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Experience with automated warehouse systems (AS/RS, AGVs)
• Proficiency in a second language, particularly Spanish
• Project management experience, especially with WMS implementations
• OSHA 30-hour certification
