Welding Engineer - Jenison Area

• →Develop and optimize welding procedures for manufacturing processes.
• →Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for welding defects.

• Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, focusing on welding processes and metallurgy.
• AWS Certified Welding Engineer (CWEng) or equivalent certification.
• Proficient in various welding techniques (e.g., GMAW, GTAW, SAW, FCAW) and their application to different materials.
• Strong understanding of welding codes, standards (e.g., AWS D1.1, ASME Section IX), and quality control procedures.
• Experience with weld inspection methods (NDT and DT) and failure analysis.

• CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) certification
• Experience with robotic welding systems
• Familiarity with NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) methods
• Project management experience in a manufacturing setting
• Advanced CAD/CAM software proficiency
