Welding Engineer - Wyoming Area

We are partnering with organizations in Wyoming that are seeking Welding Engineers. • →Develop and optimize welding procedures for various manufacturing processes.
• →Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for welding defects.
• →Specify and procure welding equipment, consumables, and automation solutions.
• →Provide technical support and training to welding technicians and manufacturing personnel.
• →Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and quality specifications for welding.

• Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, focusing on welding processes and metallurgy.
• AWS Certified Welding Engineer (CWEng) or equivalent certification.
• Proficient in various welding techniques (e.g., GMAW, GTAW, SAW, FCAW) and their application to different materials.
• Strong understanding of welding codes, standards (e.g., AWS D1.1, ASME Section IX), and quality control procedures.
• Experience with weld design, root cause analysis of weld defects, and process improvement initiatives.

• AWS CWI or CWE certification
• Experience with robotic welding systems
• Familiarity with NDT methods and specifications
• Project management experience
