Engineering Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Engineering Supervisor to join the pre-opening team at The Bristol Bol. This role ensures the smooth operation, maintenance, and reliability of all hotel systems, supervising the engineering team and reporting to the Cluster Chief Engineer and the Hotel General Manager.

• →Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the engineering team, ensuring all hotel systems operate safely and efficiently.
• →Assist in planning, implementing, and maintaining preventive maintenance schedules for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• →Ensure all service requests are recorded and completed promptly using the hotel’s FCS1 system.
• →Respond promptly to technical issues and emergencies, minimizing disruption to hotel operations.
• →Support pre-opening activities, including setup, commissioning, and testing of hotel equipment and systems.
• →Ensure the team adheres to health, safety, and technical regulations, as well as hotel policies and SOPs.
• →Collaborate with the General Manager, department heads, and the Cluster Chief Engineer to prioritize maintenance tasks and operational improvements.
• →Train, mentor, and supervise engineering staff, promoting efficiency, accountability, and professional development.
• →Maintain accurate records, logs, and reports for management review.

• Proven experience as an Engineering Supervisor, Chief Engineer, or Senior Maintenance Technician in hotels or large facilities.
• Strong knowledge of hotel systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Previous pre-opening experience is an advantage.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and make quick, effective decisions.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with management and other departments.
• Physical ability to handle technical and manual tasks safely.
