The GT Sales & Distribution Supervisor is responsible for driving sales growth, managing distributor operations, expanding General Trade (GT) market coverage, and leading the sales team to achieve business objectives. The role focuses on strengthening relationships with wholesalers, retailers, and distributors while ensuring effective execution of sales strategies, distribution plans, and route-to-market activities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Performance Management
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Develop and execute sales plans to increase revenue, distribution, and market share.
- Accompany GT Sales Officer on regular sales activities
- Monitor daily sales performance and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
2. Distribution Management
- Monitor stock availability and inventory levels to avoid stock shortages.
- Ensure products are available across all assigned territories and channels.
- Improve distribution coverage and route efficiency.
3. Team Leadership & Coaching
- Supervise, coach, and develop Sales Representatives and Merchandisers.
- Conduct regular field visits and on-the-job coaching sessions.
- Monitor team KPIs and provide performance feedback.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
4. Market Development
- Identify and develop new customers, wholesalers, and retail outlets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and distributors.
- Monitor competitor activities and market conditions.
5. Reporting & Administration
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Provide market intelligence and recommendations to management.
- Maintain accurate sales records and customer databases.
Requirements

field. - Equivalent experience in FMCG sales may be considered.
- Minimum 4–6 years of experience in FMCG Sales, General Trade (GT), or
Distribution Management. - At least 2 years of supervisory experience managing a sales team.
- Other FMCG, Food & Beverage, or Grocery Distribution Companies.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent sales, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
- Strong distributor and channel management experience.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to travel frequently and work in field sales environments.
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary Range: USD 700 – USD 1,000 per month (Gross)
