Water is the difference between a productive shift and a stopped site. You keep haul roads safe, dust under control, and crews working through heat, wind, and tight schedules. This role puts a skilled operator at the center of mining, exploration, earthworks, and construction—where reliable water delivery protects people, equipment, and the ground itself.
- Deliver water on schedule to haul roads, pads, and work fronts so dust stays within site limits and traffic keeps moving.
- Operate the water truck safely through rough terrain, active haul routes, and changing site conditions without incidents or unplanned downtime.
- Inspect, fuel, and report the truck at the start and end of each shift so mechanical issues are caught before they stop production.
- Coordinate fills, routes, and priorities with supervisors and other operators so water reaches the highest-risk areas first.
- Adjust spray patterns and pass frequency to match road condition, weather, and traffic—enough water to bind dust, not so much that surfaces become slick.
- Log loads, hours, and site observations accurately so planners can see coverage, consumption, and recurring problem spots.
- Support adjacent earthworks and extraction crews during peak activity without compromising your own safety checks or route discipline.
You work on active field sites alongside equipment operators, supervisors, and maintenance. The role reports to the site supervisor. You are assigned a maintained water truck, site radio, and daily route priorities. Shifts follow project schedules, including early starts and remote locations. Support comes from on-site mechanics and a small operations team that values practical judgment over paperwork.

- Comfort working outdoors in heat, dust, and variable weather, including extended shifts.
- Clear radio communication in the language used on site, and reliable attendance.
- Hands-on work across mining, exploration, roads, earthworks, and construction—not a single repetitive loop.
- A practical, operator-led culture where field experience is respected.
- Direct impact: your routes decide whether the rest of the crew can work safely that day.
- Room to grow with a compact team that takes on varied civil and extraction projects.
