• →Write PLC and SCADA operating programs based upon control specification and/or Tesco standards to assure safe, reliable and optimal equipment operation
• →Write (publish) concise operating instructions detailing; control parameters and their effects under normal and failure conditions
• →Provide technical assistance (phone or job-site) to verify and/or modify PLC/SCADA programs
• →Work with various departments internally, along with consulting engineers, customers and end-users to assure proper programming for the system layouts and designs
• →Analyze and interpret existing programs and documentation for project modifications
• →Ensure assignments and work schedules follow policy and procedures
• →Communicate effectively to a wide range of internal and external contacts
• →Support multiple smaller scaled projects
• →Provide weekly content and job status reports used with scheduling tools
• →Execute successful unassisted start-ups of complex sites
• →Demonstrates ability to perform technical leadership role on projects
• →Assigned to perform quality checks for projects engineered by peers
• →Ability to conduct customer facing workshops and trainings
• →All other duties assigned

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• High level of organizational and time management skills
• Familiarity with industrial automation programming best practices 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Programming, Computer Science, Computer Technology, Engineering, related field
• Basic knowledge of ladder logic and structured text programming
• Basic knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, Java
• Basic understanding of computer operations, Microsoft Office
• Working knowledge of instruments and electro-mechanical devices used for process control
