The Handyperson, under the direction of the Supervisor or Manager, is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks across different areas of a facility. This role requires strong technical skills, the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems, and the capacity to work independently. Quality customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

→Repairing and installing locks.
→Some plumbing duties.
→Assembly of furniture and hanging of pictures.
→Great people's skills.
→Must be able to work unsupervised.
→Some porter work as needed.
→Weekly meetings with facility manager to review various projects.
→Maintenance and facility repair.
→Attend to members of staff promptly when called upon.
→Safety and security awareness.
→Other routine maintenance duties as assigned.

Engage with customers, visitors and clients.
Collaborate with other employees.

Requirements

Three to five years of related customer service and/or facility services experience.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations.
Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business.
Ability to go to different clients' sites and perform general maintenance.
Handle multiple projects and tasks with a high attention to detail.
Must be able to work in a fast pace environment

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand for an extended period of time.
Attention to detail, organization skills, and the ability to work in various physical positions, including standing, sitting, walking, bending and repetitive movement.
