Yard Driver

The Yard Driver plays a critical role in the efficient operation of our logistics and distribution center by safely maneuvering tractor trailers within the yard and ensuring timely delivery of products. This position requires a strong understanding of DOT regulations and adherence to all safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment. The Yard Driver is responsible for the accurate and careful handling of freight, including the use of forklifts and electric pallet jacks, to facilitate smooth loading and unloading processes. By effectively coordinating with warehouse and transportation teams, the Yard Driver helps optimize workflow and supports overall supply chain efficiency. • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
• Proven experience operating tractor trailers in a yard or similar environment.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
• Basic reading skills to understand instructions, safety guidelines, and delivery documentation.

• Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Certification in forklift operation or other relevant equipment training.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems or yard management software.
• Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members.
