Health is the most important thing in life, and the American healthcare system is completely broken - poor outcomes, high cost, bad patient experience. We're building a new system from the ground up.

Nourish is the country's largest dietitian-led metabolic health clinic. We’re an AI-native digital health system matching patients with 10,000+ Registered Dietitians, physicians, medications, lab testing, and AI agents to deliver insurance-covered care across all 50 states. Founded four years ago, we've completed millions of appointments, tripled year-over-year, and partnered with health plans covering 200M+ Americans across 250+ health systems.

In 2026 we raised a $100M Series C, bringing total funding to $215M. The round was led by Menlo Ventures, with participation from Thrive CapitalIndex VenturesJ.P. Morgan Growth Equity PartnersMaverick VenturesY CombinatorBoxGroupAtomicoDaybreak, and Operator Partners.

This is not a job for everyone. We hold an extremely high bar because we believe talent density is our biggest competitive advantage. We're looking for people who actively choose hard, ambiguous problems, who run toward unglamorous work, give and receive candid feedback, and bring relentless resilience without the ego. Our work is important, but we are not self-important. We do this because we’re solving one of the hardest problems in the world, and the problem matters. If that's you, we disproportionately reward it.

About the Role

~1 min read

As a Strategic Finance Lead, you'll tackle the most important problems and opportunities across the business, bringing analytical, operational, & strategic lenses to drive towards the best possible outcome. Every day will look different — helping our partnership team set smarter quotas, optimizing D2C channel mix, driving retention uplift through better provider-patient matching, and finding collection optimization opportunities. You'll be trusted to lead critical cross-functional initiatives and solve problems you've never faced before.

This person will report into our CFO or Senior Strategic Finance Lead and work closely with founders and VPs across every team in the organization.

This role is full-time and open to NYC-based candidates only (expectation to work in-person 3-4 days per week, with some remote flexibility). Our office is located in Gramercy.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a high-impact business partner on key strategic projects across the organization — driving smarter investment decisions, optimizing cost, improving unit economics, and accelerating growth
  • Lead planning efforts, supporting business partners in setting goals and outlining the path to get there
  • Analyze messy, ambiguous data to surface non-obvious trends and insights that inform critical business decisions
  • Support high-importance ad hoc work, including board meetings, capital raises, and M&A
  • Navigate problems you've never encountered before, working from first principles to figure out the right approach
  • Communicate findings and recommendations in a clear, structured way to leadership and cross-functional partners
  • Proactively identify operating gaps and lead end-to-end efforts to close them
  • You have 2-5 years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Growth Equity/Venture Capital, with the exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills that come with it
  • You have strong financial modeling skills and advanced proficiency in Excel
  • You have exposure to fast-paced, high-stakes environments where you've had to balance attention to detail with seeing the bigger picture
  • You take extreme ownership — you don't wait for someone to assign you a task, you chase down a problem until it's solved
  • You are a first principles thinker — you don't need to be an expert in something to ask great questions and get to the heart of what matters
  • You sweat the small stuff — and know that the difference between good and great is in the details
  • You are hungry to improve, coachable, and willing to put in the work (and take the tough feedback) it requires to get there

Please note that you must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. for this position.
