ROLE
The Communications Advisor manages company news on internal and external channels across our North American operations. The Advisor handles each story from start to finish: finding it, writing and editing it, and getting it approved. Stories cover our project work, capabilities, company values, employee recognition and commitment to assured delivery. Current channels include a weekly mini-newsletter, LinkedIn posts and a corporate magazine published twice a year. These channels, and how often we publish on them, may change as company needs change. The role calls for strong writing and editing skills, careful management of approvals and records, and a good sense of what makes a story newsworthy. Above all, the Communications Advisor presents the company accurately and consistently to employees, clients and the public, and protects and strengthens the company's reputation.
