OBJECTIVE:

This position will be the essential architect of data processes, responsible for extracting, transforming, and loading data into usable formats for analysis, making them indispensable in data warehousing and BI initiatives.
This multifaceted role requires a combination of technical skills, analytical capabilities, and soft skills such as communication and project management to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of data flows.
You must master technical tools and concepts, gain practical experience through projects, and stay up-to-date with industry trends.

RESPONSABILITIES:

Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to support data integration, transformation, and loading requirements.
Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources to create cohesive and accurate datasets.
Collaborate with Business partners, IT Senior Director and IT Data Analiyst- PowerBi to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across systems and applications.
Optimize ETL pipelines for performance and efficiency while minimizing processing time.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve ETL-related issues to maintain seamless data operations.
Document ETL processes, data flows, and solutions for future reference and scalability.
Implement data quality checks and validation processes to maintain high standards of data governance.
Work closely with data architects, analysts, and developers to align data solutions with business goals.
Stay updated on industry trends and tools to recommend enhancements to existing solutions
Any other activity that is required and depends on your position or department.

Know and adhere to the area's procedures recorded in the QSM.

Engineering (IT, Software)

1-2 years of experience in data integration, ETL development, or data engineering. Experience in Languages: Python, Bash, Powershell, C#, (Exposer to Clojure deseable) Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Conexiom, PowerBi, similar platforms.

Tools: Airflow, Azure data Factory (most important), Aure devops, (SSIS and/or ODI preferred, but only enough knowlage need to convert ETL jobs to Azure Data Factory)
Data: SQL (MSSQL, Oracle)
Operating Systems: Linux, Windows
Source Control Management: Git
Agile Process implementation
Proficiency in ETL tools and techniques, including data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
Strong knowledge of SQL, Oracle and relational database concepts.
Familiarity with cloud-based data integration solutions (e.g., Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue).
Understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data architecture principles.
Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data security standards
Team player with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and countris (English and Spanish spoken)
