SFA Engineering Manager

• Manage Special product feasibility and development projects in the R&D and Engineering Department. 
• Be responsible and accountable for the coordinated management of SFA and ETO tasks. The role also has a heavy operational element in Service and Production support. 

• →Nove Mesto ETO Department Engineering Management: Local Team management, Attendances, Holidays plan and Permissions approvals.
• →Engineering Procedures and Compliance.
• →Special Feature Authorization (SFA) BOMs plan: In this role he/she will support the Order Validation Specialist Supervisor on the realization of the plan when the Special Orders, SFA, will have BOMs ready for production. The plan will be updated every two days with information’s about when the BOMs will be ready and what the SFA requests consist of. 
• →Engineering To Order (ETO) management: In this role he/she will manage and coordinate the Engineering team activities according to the ETO Customization procedure. Working in cross functional team driven by PMO. He/she will lead the development of the ETO products managing the activities from the design concept till the design validation. Plan the Prototype, first Sample of unit, for laboratory tests and design validation, working with Offering and Engineering NPDI teams’ members. He/she will also work with Procurement, Laboratory, Offering dpts and external Laboratories and consultant, if needed. The targets are mainly two:
  • →Design, validate and handover the prototype to the NPDI team;
  • →Design, validate and delivery ETO order to customer in cooperation with NPDI Eng team
• →Service post-sales support on customer changes requests (usually required during the commissioning of the units): In this role he/she will manage special requests from customers realizing the kits with Engineering resources which consists on: studying and quoting the solution, design and realize it, create assembling instructions for service engineers…. He/she will be in contact with Service Technical Support Manager.
• →In his/her role will be the reference for:
  • →Quality dpt: internal audit, claims, procedures.
  • →Procurement dpt: suppliers product deviations approval, PIPO which impact SFA/ETO, general requests;
  • →Service & Quality dpts: customer claims management and solution.
  • →ME & Production dpts: to support day-to-day activities within Nove Mesto production plant as representative of SFA/ETO engineering dpt;
• →ITC reference: he/she will be the engineering reference for the ITC EMEA manager. In this role he/she is required to support with classification of Thermal products components                               

• Assists facilitate the daily job of operational team members as required.
• Monitor and assure KPIs team performances.
• Monitoring of growth team experience evaluating individual performances for promotions and salary actions proposals.
• Coordinate the team, establishing rapport and maintaining communications with other departments: Application Engineer, Offering, Production, Operations and Supply Chain, focusing on the quality, accuracy and on time delivery of the SFA/ETO quotations and orders.

• At least 5 years of previous experience on similar projects.
• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical / Energy Engineering.
• Good knowledge of thermodynamics and refrigeration principles are essential.
• Knowledge of thermodynamics, physics, engineering and manufacturing processes.
• Strong Leadership – Leading by Example

• Good Communicator
• Strong Capacity of taking decisions as for solving problems 
• Fluent speaking, reading, and writing in the English language
• Flexibility in case of global meetings with different time zones

The anticipated salary range for this role in the Nové Mesto nad Váhom locality is between 33 739€ to 42 174€ gross per year —salary ranges for other geographic localities may vary. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance and are role based. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role. Compensation ranges are determined based on objective, gender-neutral criteria including skills, experience, and job responsibilities. In addition to the salary listed above, a detailed overview of additional compensation, including bonuses and benefits, will be provided during the initial interview.
