Sr. Electrical Engineer

• →Create and revise unit wiring schematics and network connection drawings 
• →Create and review electric panel layouts following relevant codes and standards 
• →Create and revise wire harnesses 
• →Check and approve drawings and bill of materials 
• →Work with software team to develop and verify CRAC system controls 
• →Work with development scientist to validate setup of new electrical customizations
• →Participate in identification of cost reduction opportunities and in the design and development of cost reduction changes
• →Implement product changes to solve field issues, support service department

• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in an electrical engineering field.
• Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment independently and as a member of a dynamic team; offer and receive constructive criticism 
• Ability to mentor and guide less experienced team members 
• Demonstrated history of delivering quality products to market with understanding and respect for phases of the product development process 
• Excellent project management skills and communication skills, both written and verbal 
• Proficient in 3D CAD software, preferred CREO 4.0 and greater 
• Knowledge of NEC (NFPA79), IEEE 519, UL 508A SB

• Preferred 4-8 years of experience in an HVAC related electrical engineering field: experience with Chillers preferred
• Experience with PLM systems (BOM management and change order release)
• Experience working closely with associates in manufacturing engineering and production roles
• Knowledge of UL60335-2-40 or equivalent CSA/UL standards  
• Understanding electrical schematic layout and creation
• Experience with communications and interconnects standards and protocols including RS485, CAN, and Ethernet

• Frequent bending / twisting

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or related degree from an accredited college or university
