What You'll Be Cooking Up:

As a Kitchen Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly and efficiently. You’ll support our Chef and Chef Assistant in preparing fresh, delicious meals for our team while ensuring the kitchen is clean, organized, and ready for action.

 Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing:

• Ensuring the food preparation areas are clean and hygienic
• Washing, peeling, chopping, cutting, and cooking as well as help in the preparation
• Washing utensils and dishes and make sure they are stored appropriately
• Sorting, storing and distributing ingredients
• Cleaning the food preparation equipment and other kitchen tools or areas
• Assisting with inventory when necessary
• Assisting with deliveries when needed
• Making sure the kitchen area is well maintained at all time
• Proactively informing Chef and Assistant Chef on stock levels of daily ingredients

Any other task/responsibility which may be related and/or connected to the role of Kitchen Assistant

• Awareness of health and hygiene standards.
• A valid food handler’s license (don’t worry—we’ll renew it for you when needed).
