Senior Quality Engineering Manager (Talent Pool)

Job Overview Lead Manufacturing Quality activities across assigned production shops, ensuring products meet design requirements, customer expectations, and global quality standards. Drive quality strategy, problem-solving initiatives, new product readiness, and continuous improvement while leading quality engineering teams to achieve world-class manufacturing performance. Key Responsibilities Lead Quality Engineering teams and manage quality performance across manufacturing operations. Develop and maintain in-process quality standards, inspection standards, and quality control systems. Drive root cause analysis and permanent corrective actions for major quality issues. Lead cross-functional teams to resolve customer, production, and supplier quality concerns. Oversee APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and quality readiness for new product launches. Monitor and improve key quality KPIs including PPM, FTQ, scrap, rework, warranty, and customer complaints. Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and corporate quality requirements. Champion Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, MSA, and Poka-Yoke initiatives. Support supplier quality improvement and manufacturing process optimization. Develop team capability through coaching, mentoring, and performance management. Requirements Requirements Bachelor's degree in Automotive, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline. 10+ years of experience in Quality, Manufacturing, or Engineering within automotive or related industries. Minimum 5 years of people management experience. Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing. Experience in vehicle launch, manufacturing quality, or production engineering. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Good English communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in Automotive OEM or Tier-1 suppliers. Expertise in Body, Paint, GA, Chassis, Battery, Powertrain, or Electrical Systems. Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt certification. Master's degree in Engineering or Business Administration is a plus. Candidates must be willing to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and support business travel when required. This position is open to Vietnamese nationals only.
