Create your best future and join Westpac as a Principal ServiceNow Platform Engineer.

As a Principal Platform Engineer, you'll be one of the most senior technical leaders for the ServiceNow platform. You'll bring 7+ years of ServiceNow experience and help set engineering direction, define standards, solve complex technical challenges, mentor engineers, and guide how the platform evolves over time. You'll work closely with engineers, architects, product owners and stakeholders to improve platform capabilities and support the adoption of AI, automation and emerging technologies. This is a permanent role.

Strong ServiceNow platform knowledge across multiple products and capabilities.
Experience designing and supporting enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions.
Strong skills in JavaScript, scripting, APIs, integrations and automation.
Ability to define engineering standards, patterns and best practices.
Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring engineers.
Experience leading complex technical initiatives and delivering outcomes.
Knowledge of platform architecture, security, performance and governance.
Experience with AI, automation and emerging technologies.
Strong collaboration, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
