3. PMP, CHC, and/or CHFM certification
1. 3 years’ experience in construction.
1. Experience in a healthcare system, an academic medical center/health care facility, and public sector and/or university experience.
2. Experience with building systems, design, construction techniques, bidding and negotiating contracts and/or fee proposals.
Responsibilities
~1 min read1. Thorough knowledge of standard construction industry work practices and procedures.
2. Knowledgeable with both common and highly specialized materials and equipment used in healthcare facilities.
3. Knowledge of applicable codes and regulatory requirements such as OSHA, OBC, NFPA, JCAHO, ADA, HIPAA. Understanding of the LEED rating system.
4. Technical knowledge of design and construction in order to effectively maintain record documentation.
5. Ability to professionally interact on a daily basis with individuals on all organization’s levels.
6. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills including demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with a broad range of customers and management levels. Proven organizational and problem-solving skills.
7. Highly proficient in construction software platforms including, but not limited to, Autodesk Suite of Products, Bluebeam, E-Builder or equivalent, and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with CADD, Revit, BIM, or other computer drafting programs.
