About the role:

While primarily remote, this role requires occasional visits to the office in Coimbra. We plan to open offices in Aveiro and Porto in the future. This approach gives team members the flexibility to work remotely while also coming together in the office for collaboration and teamwork.

We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join Intermedia and help build, operate, and evolve the Resource Plane of our Internal Developer Platform (IDP). This is a senior individual contributor role operating in a small, high-impact team responsible for shared, non-database runtime services. The team owns critical infrastructure services such as event streaming, messaging, caching, object storage, and logging backends. The scope of this platform is expected to evolve over time, requiring engineers who are comfortable operating under ambiguity and taking ownership of complex, stateful systems.
