Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Mechanical fitting with good knowledge of conveyor belts, drives, gearboxes, couplings and general mechanical equipment
- →Good knowledge of Hydraulic & Pneumatic systems is essential
- →Finding and fixing faults safely and efficiently
- →Welding and fabrication skills essential
- →Routine Preventative Maintenance so an understanding of a PPM schedule is advantageous
- →Turning and milling knowledge and experience would be advantageous
- →Experience of working in a medium to heavy industry, particularly aggregates would be advantageous
- →Electrical qualifications would be advantageous
- →Working as part of a team in a busy manufacturing factory to ensure production targets are met
- →Complete risk assessments when requested.
- →Working to a high standard in health and safety, striving to make site improvements with energy, health and safety and quality
