Warehouse Manager

We are a well-established manufacturing company located in the Hudson Valley, NY, seeking a qualified professional to join our growing team. The company name will be shared with candidates as they move through the hiring processs

Compensation: $65,000–$85,000 per year, based on experience, skills, and qualifications

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the Warehouse team, managing inventory, and the day to day operations of the Warehouse.

· Oversees team of inventory or warehouse employees.

· Manages inventory tracking system to record deliveries, picking, shipments and stock levels.

· Evaluates deliveries, shipments and product levels to improve inventory control procedures.

· Analyzes daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages.

· Manages schedules of employees, deliveries and shipments to optimize operations.

· Communicates with inventory employees to meet business goals and address personnel issues.

· Proposes strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures of supply chain logistics.

· Monitors demand and analyzes data to anticipate future supply and logistical needs.

· Reports on inventory levels, supply chain progress, procedural efficiency and personnel issues to upper management.

· Manage Picking process to ensure smooth production flow

· Manages the recruitment and training of new inventory employees.

· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

· 5-10 years of experience managing inventory/warehouse

· Previous supervisory responsibilities required

· Ability to utilize power equipment as per licensing requirements

· Ability to frequently stand, walk, reach within hands and arm’s length, stoop, kneel, and crouch

· Ability to use ladders and step stools safely

· Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds

Supervisory Responsibilities: Warehouse Team

· Required to stand, walk, bend, and reach with hands and arms.

· Required to use hands to handle objects.

· Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

· Ability to operate forklift, pallet jacks, wave machine

· Specific vision requirements include close vision.

· Includes safety glasses and additional protection as required by law.

· Will be exposed to a noisy environment routinely.
