Responsibilities

→Perform structural analysis of Fan, Low-Pressure Compressor (LPC) components via hand calculations and finite element analysis
→Utilize analysis results to provide recommendations/proposals to the Integrated Product Team (IPT).
→Work closely with all engineering disciplines on the IPT to identify balanced solutions to technical tasks.
→Utilize the latest P&W structural best practices and analytical tools.
→Provide documentation of analyses in the form of formal reports and presentations for management and customers.
→Identify structural risks within work of moderate scope to ensure project completion
→Travel up to 10%

Compression Systems Engineering is responsible for the design, development, and in service support of all fans low-pressure and high-pressure compressors for commercial and military engine models. CSE is responsible for the identification and maturation of new technologies for these products.

Technical disciplines in CSE include Project Engineering, Mechanical Design, Structural Analysis, and Product Definition.
