Scrum Master

• →• Facilitates sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
• →• Removes impediments and escalates issues that slow the team down.
• →• Works with the Product Owner to keep the backlog groomed and prioritized.
• →• Tracks and reports sprint progress, velocity and burndown.
• →• Coaches team members on Scrum practices and Agile principles.
• →• Promotes collaboration between the team and outside stakeholders.
• →• Encourages continuous improvement through retrospective actions.
• →• Performs other duties as assigned.

• • 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master on software development teams.
• • Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban and Agile principles.
• • Proficient with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence or Azure DevOps.
• • Strong facilitation and conflict-resolution skills.
• • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• • Continually required to use common office equipment including but not limited to computers, phones, scanners and printers.

• • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or SAFe Scrum Master certification.
• • Experience supporting federal government contracts.

Compensation: $71,033 – $78,926 per year
