Looking for a hands-on job that makes a difference? Join Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity as a Mover & Driver and help collect donations that support affordable housing for local families across the Cape Fear region.

Schedule: Monday-Saturday availability 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Pay Range: $17.77 - $18.27 / hour

What You'll Do

Pick up, load, transport, and unload donated items
Provide excellent customer service to donors and community members
Assist with operating a box truck and safely securing loads
Complete donation receipts and required paperwork
Maintain clean trucks, donation areas, and warehouse spaces
Follow all safety procedures and traffic laws

What We're Looking For

Valid driver's license with a good driving record
Ability to lift and move 75+ pounds regularly
Ability to stand, bend, squat, climb, and perform physical work throughout the day
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Strong customer service and teamwork skills
Box truck, moving, or warehouse experience is a plus, but not required
Commitment to Habitat's mission of building homes, communities, and hope
Ability to pass a criminal background check, pre-employment drug screening, and motor vehicle record (MVR) review required
