Lead Robotics & Automation Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead robotics and automation transformation projects from concept, engineering, commissioning, and handover to production
• Support manufacturing operations by ensuring the reliability, optimization, and continuous improvement of automation systems
• Utilize Industry 4.0 technologies, industrial networking, AI-enabled applications, and data analytics to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, IT/Digital Technology, and external suppliers to deliver effective technical solutions
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating emerging technologies and promoting digital innovation across manufacturing operations

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical and/or electronics engineering, automation engineering, robotics engineering, or a related engineering discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience implementing industrial automation systems in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with industrial networking and automation architectures
• Knowledge of industrial databases and manufacturing data collection systems
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming, HMI, SCADA, Industrial instrumentation, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Servo systems
• Good verbal and written skills in English and Turkish
• Willing to work at Gebze plant
