Snowmaker (Full-Time)

The Snowmaker I is involved with making man-made snow for ski runs at an introductory level.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must possess a valid drivers’ license.
• Must be available to work nights including weekends on a flexible basis.
• Works Mid-October to late December
• Previous heavy equipment operation experience preferred.
• Excellent English communication skills required.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills required.
• Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and prioritize tasks.

• INTERNAL:  Other Grooming/ Snowmaking staff
• EXTERNAL:  Resort guests

• →Involved with the set up and tear down of snowmaking equipment.
• →Responsible for the safe and proper operation of snowmaking equipment.
• →Shoveling snow off of equipment regularly.
• →Relay crucial information to shift supervisor.
• →Ability to work in a high alpine environment.
• →Capacity to learn snow mobile operation and procedures

• →Coordinate and cooperate with other departments as necessary in the completion of the above essential duties.
• →Provide information and answer questions about the resort to resort guests.
• →Any other duties that may contribute to the cleanliness, orderliness and overall efficiency of the entire operation and all of the tasks contained therein.
