  EHS MANAGER   Job Details Full Time / Part Time: Full Time FLSA Classification: Exempt Business Unit: Environmental, Health, and Safety Reports to: EHS Director Travel Requirement: Yes   Job Description  Select’s EHS Manager develops, implements, and manages programs meant to protect employee health and safety, or promote environmental compliance.   The essential job functions include, but are not limited to Oversees development of policies and programs meant to mitigate organizational impact on the environment or protect employees from health and safety risks found in the organization. Establishes guidelines governing the collection and maintenance of employee training records, health/safety manuals or handbooks, incident/accident reports, or other documentation. Audits facilities or processes to identify weaknesses or risks and proactively develops and implements corrective actions; ensures appropriate investigation of and response to accidents or injuries. Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state, or local statutes or regulations including OSHA. Comprehensive knowledge of the field's policies, procedures, and practices. Must meet the requirements to obtain Safeland instructor status. Work is regularly performed in outside weather conditions, including rain and extreme cold and heat, near moving mechanical parts; exposure to high wind, ice, snow, wet and/or humid conditions, vibration, and dust is expected. Exposure to noise levels requiring the use of hearing protection. Prolonged sitting, standing, walking.
