Stock Control/Booking-In Shift Manager

• →Oversee daily stock control and booking-in operations.
• →Receive and check deliveries against purchase orders.
• →Ensure stock quantities, product details, and records are accurate.
• →Monitor stock levels, report discrepancies, and minimise waste.
• →Ensure all products are stored correctly and rotated using FIFO.
• →Supervise staff and allocate tasks to ensure smooth shift operations.
• →Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and health and safety.
• →Communicate stock issues and operational updates to management.

Previous experience in stock control, inventory management, warehouse operations, or logistics.

• Experience supervising or leading a team in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Good understanding of stock management processes, goods-in procedures, and inventory accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve stock discrepancies.
• Competent IT skills, including experience using stock management or warehouse management systems.
• Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Sound understanding of food safety, hygiene, and health and safety requirements.
• Ability to lead by example and drive high standards of performance and accountability.
• Experience within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment is desirable.
• A flexible and proactive approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing business needs.
