JLL's Project & Development Services team delivers end-to-end project management solutions for corporate occupiers, developers, and investors. Our PDS division in Mumbai manages a diverse portfolio of projects including commercial office fit-outs, base building developments, retail spaces, data centers, logistics facilities, and industrial projects. We provide comprehensive services from project conception through completion, ensuring delivery excellence for leading multinational and domestic clients.

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Lead to join our PDS team in Mumbai. This role serves as a critical bridge between project execution teams and senior project leadership, requiring an individual who can independently manage project portfolios while supporting strategic client relationships. The Assistant Project Lead will oversee multiple concurrent projects, mentor junior team members, and ensure delivery of projects that meet JLL's standards of excellence in quality, schedule, budget, and client satisfaction.

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD with ability to review and mark up technical drawings
• Strong working knowledge of MS Project or Primavera P6 for schedule development and management
• Comprehensive understanding of construction methodologies, building systems (structural, MEP, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection), and finishing works
• Familiarity with building codes including NBC, local municipal regulations, fire safety norms, and environmental compliance requirements
• Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel for financial modeling and budget tracking

• Willingness to travel extensively across Mumbai, MMR region.
• Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends during critical project phases
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while knowing when to escalate issues

• Strong leadership abilities with proven team management experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi; additional regional languages advantageous
• Outstanding organizational and multitasking capabilities to manage concurrent projects effectively
• Strategic thinking combined with meticulous attention to operational details
• Client-focused approach with strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
• Decisive decision-making abilities under pressure
• Commercial acumen with strong financial and business awareness

The Assistant Project Lead role provides a clear pathway to Project Lead and Senior Project Manager positions within JLL's PDS division. High performers will have opportunities to lead larger, more complex projects, expand client portfolios, and eventually progress to senior leadership roles overseeing regional operations or specialized practice areas.
